In this issue we interviewed artists who have released their debut album, as Petite Meller or Motion Graphics (image). We also spoke with consolidated bands like Empire of The Sun or Rudimental. As for the national pool we interviewed Galician Alarido Mongólico and Espanto, who have published new album.
Several women are the main figures of our artistic content: Maia Flore, a young photographer with a surreal view; Anne Imhof, German artist who includes in her work set design, choreography and visuals; and Regina and Lucrecia ,two Berliners of adoption that have joined creative universes. We also discuss two important events: the retrospective of Txomin Badiola at the Palacio de Velázquez in Madrid, and two events dedicated to editorial design: Papelcontinuo and Zines of the Zone.
As usual, we interviewed new talents of the national and international fashion as Natalia Rivera, Ela Fidalgo, José Carayol, Bleach Project or Shoop. Also you may find trends in hairdressing by Sebastian Professional; Author Denim section, in which a creative couple customizes Pepe Jeans clothing; or the new collection of bags and shoes by Louis Vuitton in an editorial signed by José Morraja (image).
They have been hard to get but finally, in late November, will be released "Woman", the new and much awaited album of Justice. An album with less techno music but very danceable, where they experimented with new instruments like the violin or accordion. We talked about their new job with Xavier de Rosnay.
We interviewed Deyan Sudjic, Director of the Design Museum in London, which is about to open its doors after a spectacular restoration carried out by the architect John Pawson in the Brutalist building of the former Commonwealth Institute.
Our contributor Mit Borras interviews this Chilean Naturalist artist, whose work, very close to anthropology and nature, has been recognized by major institutions of the art world, such as the MoMA PS1.
We highlight several products that have surprised us by its functionality and design, as the chair Spoon (image) designed by Valencian Yonoh studio. A practical and detachable chair. Also it has drawn our attention the minibar designed by Papila Studio, an amazing woodwork that imitates the terra cotta. And very interesting are also the RFC + lamps, made of blown glass by Mayice Studio.
The energy drink brand Burn has launched an interesting artistic project, Wall Burners in Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel. The white walls of the hotel become canvases in which urban artists like Philip Pantone and Okuda, who have initiated the project, will leave its mark.
The last issue of the year is packed full of very creative editorials. You will find the new Winter proposals for Dior Homme photographed by Virginia Arcaro. Also accessories, in this case, the jewels, will be the stars of the editorial signed by Miky Díez. There is a lot of sophistication in the story by Amilcar Lusinchi, who is the responsible of the cover in this issue .In addition, we have large portraits by Vincent Urbani and a very arty mood in the edito by the Japanese Teruo Horikoshi.
